GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The 2024 General Tire Team Series started with a bang as Team Kubota’s  Jacob Wheeler, Boyd Duckett and Dylan Hays won by a margin of 40 pounds, 14 ounces over Team Crockett Creek. The trio brought in 59 bass weighing 101-15, nearly double Team Crockett Creek’s 34 bass weighing 61-2 at the Lucas Oil Qualifier Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

Team Kubota and Team Crockett Creek’s Jonathon Van Dam, Matt Lee and James Elam will advance to the semifinals, while Team Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff & Pouches (Bryan Thrift, Luke Clausen and Josh Butler) finished just below the cut line with 23 bass for 47-3. Six more teams will duke it out for four remaining spots in the semifinals.
