ROANOKE, W. Va. – A mere 1 pound, 4 ounces was the deciding factor in Team Star brite’s Kevin VanDam, David Walker and Kelly Jordon winning the General Tire Team Series Costa Qualifier Presented by Toyota. The trio rallied for eight bass weighing 13-6, narrowly topping the seven bass weighing 12-3 from team Builders FirstSource (Fletcher Shryock, Andy Morgan and James Watson).

For their win, team Star brite earned a trip to the Bass Pro Shops Team Series Championship. Team Builders FirstSource isn’t out of the race just yet, as they’ll face team Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff & Pouches in the Wild Card round for one last chance at making the championship.

Meanwhile, team Knighten Industries (John Murray, Brent Ehrler and Brett Hite) are going home, having missed the cut with eight bass weighing 10-7.
