Off Limits: Standard FLW (rule 3 & 4) off limits apply plus fish release area at weigh-in site.

Fishing License: Maryland and Virginia licenses do reciprocate (see Virginia and Maryland regulations for complete details). All anglers fishing Maryland water must be prepared to present a valid drivers license or picture ID along with the fishing license. Visit www.dnr.state.md.us/service/license. D.C. Waters: A U.S. Coast Guard state boating course and D.C. license are required when fishing D.C. waters. The free safety course can be taken online at www.boatus.com.

Satlwater Registry: Federal Law requires all anglers who fish in tidal waters including the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries to register with the National Saltwater Angler Registry. It is free of charge and you may register at www.countmyfish.noaa.gov or by calling 1.888.674.7411.
