It had never been done until today. In the 20-year history of the FLW Tour no pro had ever won back-to-back events. When Mark Rose hoisted the trophy into the rays of the setting Texas sun he became the first ever to go back-to-back on the FLW Tour. Combined with his win in the season opener on Guntersville, Rose’s win in the FLW Tour presented by Quaker State on Lake Travis made history.
