Wildcats Win on Wheeler

Kyle Alsop and Travis Blenn of the Kansas State University won the 2017 YETI FLW College Fishing National Championship presented by Lowrance C-Map Genesis on Wheeler Lake Friday with a three-day haul of 44 pounds, 12 ounces. For Alsop, it’s the second major collegiate championship of his career. He and former partner Taylor Bivins won the Bassmaster College Series National Championship in 2016 on Green River Lake.
