Top 10 Baits From Chickamauga

Top 10 Baits From Chickamauga

Prespawn on Lake Chickamauga usually means a healthy dose of lipless crankbaits and umbrella rigs, so it wasn’t surprising that those were exactly the baits that dominated for the top 10 at the Costa FLW Series Southeastern Division event presented by T-H Marine on the east Tennessee fishery. Square-bill crankbaits had their place, as did vibrating jigs and a variety of other baits. Need for Speed?

What I do value is torque, which is why I run an Evinrude G2. The extra torque means I get on pad faster, which adds up when I’m making 40 or 50 of those 2-mile runs in a day. That’s where I make up my time, by getting from zero to 50 mph in a hurry. READ MORE »

Organization is Time, and Time is Money

Organization is Time, and Time is Money

I’ll even let you in on a little secret – the first thing I do whenever I get a new boat is unscrew the strap holder and extend it 3 inches. That allows me more rods on the deck so I don’t have to spend time getting a rod out of the locker when I’m on the water. READ MORE »
