Registration is now open for the 2019 Costa FLW High School Fishing Camp, which will be held July 24-26.

High School Fishing camp is the ultimate summer camp for serious high school anglers, their parents, boat captains and coaches. Held on the beautiful Murray State University campus with daily activities on the shores of Kentucky Lake – the South’s Great Lake – this is one camp you don’t want to miss. Students receive instruction from top professionals and industry executives to take their fishing and fishing-career readiness to the next level.

Adults have the option to drop off their students or stay throughout the camp and participate in special panel discussions aimed at identifying best practices to give your High School Fishing team the edge it needs to thrive.

Camp starts Wednesday, July 24, and concludes Friday, July 26, followed by an FLW Foundation benefit tournament Saturday, July 27, for campers who would like to put their newfound skills to the test while helping raise money for the foundation’s High School Fishing scholarship fund.

The tournament features two divisions – a boat division and a kayak division – and one lucky camper will be selected to fish with an FLW Tour pro. Participants in the tournament are eligible for thousands of dollars in cash prizes, with the winner taking home the Costa FLW High School Fishing Cup.

The camp fee is $300 per student/adult. The tournament entry fee is $200 per boat/kayak.

FLW Foundation Benefit Tournament

The 2019 FLW Foundation benefit tournament raises funds for youth fishing programs and High School Fishing grants benefiting students nationwide.

The tournament will be held July 27 on Kentucky Lake out of Kentucky Dam Marina. Onsite registration and the pretournament meeting will be held the evening of July 26 at Murray State University.

The tournament features a boat and a kayak division. The entry fee is $200 per boat/kayak. Kayakers will compete as individuals. Each boat may have up to three participants assigned.

The winner of the boat division will receive $2,000 and a YETI cooler. Second place in the boat division is $1,000, and third place is $500. Additionally, boat division teams may enter categories to win an extra $500 per selection as the highest finisher in that category. The cost is $50 per category.

You may enter as many categories as you like, but a category only becomes active once at least 10 participants have registered for it. If the category does not become active, you will receive a refund for that category at registration.
