2020 Phoenix BFL Contingency Awards

PHOENIX:

Phoenix awards up to $7,000 to the winning boater in each Phoenix Bass Fishing League Qualifier, Super Tournament, Regional Championship, Wild Card and the All-American if he or she meets FLW Phoenix Bonus guidelines. If the winner is not FLW Phoenix Bonus qualified, the highest-finishing boater who meets FLW Phoenix Bonus guidelines receives $500. Boaters must meet all FLW Phoenix Bonus clothing, decal and participation requirements. Phoenix logo must be visible across the front of the jersey (minimum 12” wide by 1.75” tall). All factory-installed Phoenix decals must be on the boat in their original position, or wrapped boats must have the Phoenix logo in the same size (38” long) and in an equally visible location as the original decals. Participation is $19.95 per year and includes a Phoenix decal and membership card.

MERCURY BONUS BUCKS:

The Mercury Bonus Bucks contingency bonus goes to the winning boater in each qualifying event if he or she is the original registered owner/first purchaser of a 2018 or newer 115-250 HP Mercury outboard. (Mercury National Team pro team members are excluded, as National Team contractual incentives will apply.)

  • Angler must be the original registered owner/first purchaser of a 2018 or newer Mercury outboard, 115 through 250 HP only. Mercury Racing and Mercruiser engines are excluded regardless of horsepower rating.
  • Angler must have the outboard registered with Mercury prior to competing. The Mercury Warranty registration phone number is 920.929.5054.
  • Angler must use the outboard all days of competition during the tournament.
  • Mercury has final say on approvals for all contingency payouts and reserves the right to change or discontinue this program at any time without notice.

It is the responsibility of anglers to make sure the engine is registered in their name with Mercury prior to competing. Non-registered engines will not be eligible. Note: For engines purchased from Mercury pro staff, please call the warranty line to confirm registration eligibility.

T-H MARINE ATLAS AWARDS:

T-H Marine awards cash prizes to Atlas Awards members who are the winners or highest qualifying finisher of sanctioned events, giving everyone the opportunity to win like top-level pros. The Atlas Awards program is just $29.99 for a one-year (Jan. 1, 2020– Dec. 31, 2020) membership and gives all anglers the chance to compete for, and win, extra money just for having T-H Marine parts on their boat. Highest-Finisher Awards:

If an Atlas Awards member does not win the event, T-H Marine will pay $100 to the highest-finishing Atlas Awards member inside the top 10 percent or $50 to the highest finisher inside the top 20 percent. To receive the highest-finisher award, Atlas Awards member must own Atlas Hydraulic Jack plate and fill out claim form. All Atlas Awards claims must be submitted within 30 days of tournament win. Claims must be made through the online claims form.


POWER-POLE CAPTAINS CASH

 

Power-Pole awards a $100 Captains Cash Bonus to the winning boater in each qualifier, super tournament, regional and the All-American if he or she meets Captains Cash Rewards Club contingency requirements.

Requirements:

  • Captains Cash Rewards Club is open to all tournament anglers fishing any Captains Cash sanctioned event.
  • Annual membership is $24.95. Membership is valid from October through December of the following year. Purchase a Club Membership
  • Registration must be completed prior to any sanctioned tournament to be eligible for contingency payments.
  • Eligible contingency payment participants are registered Power-Pole owners who are registered members of the Captains Cash Club.
  • Registered Power-Pole owners placing first place overall only in a sanctioned event are eligible for contingency payments.
  • Power-Pole Pro Staff are required to purchase Captains Cash membership in order to qualify for Captains Cash Rewards payments.
  • Only one possible payout per tournament. A maximum of one angler per tournament will be rewarded.
  • Sanctioned tournaments must have a minimum of 20 boats registered to qualify for Captains Cash Rewards payments.
  • Winners must be verified through the sanctioned tournament via website, newsletter or other official organization communication and obtain tournament director’s signature on claim form.
  • Completed Power-Pole Captains Cash claim form must be submitted within 30 days of the tournament win and can be obtained here.
  • JL Marine Systems employees and members of their immediate family are not eligible to participate.
  • Approval of claims and payments is at sole discretion of JL Marine Systems, Inc.
  • Payment claimants must have Power-Pole registered with JL Marine Systems (manufacturer).

  • Power-Pole Captains Cash Rewards recipients will be responsible for paying any and all local, state, federal or other taxes on contingency earnings.

BERKLEY CAST FOR CASH

 

Berkley awards cash payouts ranging from $100 to $1,000 to the top two Cast for Cash members at each FLW Series qualifier and the FLW Series Championship.

  • The Berkley Cast for Cash program costs $29.99 and runs from January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020. Membership can be purchased at berkley-fishing.com.
  • Each Berkley Cast for Cash membership includes a $50 Berkley Pro Pack with the following items:
    • Berkley Cast for Cash hat
    • Berkley Cast for Cash boat decal
    • Two packages of soft baits – angler’s choice
    • Two hard baits – angler’s choice
  • Any Berkley Cast for Cash member can win the following cash prizes based on his or her performance. Prize money is awarded to eligible anglers who finish 1st and 2nd out of all Cast for Cash members in each tournament.

Requirements: For an angler to be eligible to win Cast for Cash contingency prize money, he or she must follow the terms and conditions listed below.

  • Anglers must use Berkley hard or soft bait in sanctioned tournaments to be eligible to win Cast for Cash contingency prize money. 
  • Anglers must purchase a membership and register for Cast for Cash before tournament registration to be considered eligible at that tournament. The member will then be eligible through the remainder of the Cast for Cash tournament season.
  • Anglers must have their Cast for Cash membership cards and a valid government issued ID available to present to officials at all sanctioned tournaments.
  • If fishing in a team tournament, both anglers must be individually registered Cast for Cash members to qualify for pay outs. There will only be one payout awarded per team. 
  • An angler must indicate that he or she is a Cast for Cash member when registering for sanctioned tournaments (if applicable) and must comply with all tournament guidelines to be eligible to win Cast for Cash prizes. 
  • Each angler must display a Cast for Cash membership decal (provided in the Berkley Pro Pack) on a visible area of his or her boat. 
  • Membership is annual, lasting from January 1st of the membership year or the date purchased thereafter, and will expire on November 30th of that same year. 
  • Tournaments must have a minimum of 20 boats to be a Cast for Cash sanctioned event. 
  • Anglers must comply with all sanctioned tournaments’ guidelines to be considered eligible. 
  • Anglers must be willing to submit to a polygraph test at any sanctioned tournament. It is at the discretion of the tournament director to decide if a polygraph test should be administered. 
  • Cast for Cash winners are responsible to pay all taxes on Cast for Cash contingency winnings. 
  • All decisions on eligibility and payment will be made by tournament directors at Cast for Cash sanctioned tournaments. In the event of a dispute, Berkley reserves its right to make final determinations on eligibility and payment, and any such decision will be made final. 
  • Tournament directors will award payouts in a timely manner and as they see fit. Payouts should be sent to Cast for Cash prize winners within no more than thirty (30) days after the sanctioned tournament. 
  • I consent to and authorize Pure Fishing, Inc., and its affiliate companies, to capture and use my appearance, image, voice, photograph, video, quotation, or any other likeness, for any purpose, including but not limited to, educational, promotional, or marketing/advertising purposes and in any media format. 
  • IN NO EVENT SHALL PURE FISHING BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE DAMAGE OR LOST PROFITS REGARDLESS OF THE NATURE OF THE CLAIM OR NOTICE GIVEN. THESE LIMITATIONS WILL APPLY TO ALL CLAIMS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTY, CONTRACT, INDEMNITY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR STRICT LIABILITY. B&W Hitches awards a Tow and Stow Adjustable Ball Mount valued at $200 to the highest-finishing boater in each Phoenix Bass Fishing League presented by T-H Marine tournament that meets the B&W Hitches contingency requirements. Requirements: The B&W Hitches logo must be visible on the front of the angler’s jersey or B&W Hitches-branded clothing, hat and/or visor. The B&W Hitches logo must be displayed on the angler’s tow vehicle and/or boat. The angler must verify participation in the B&W Hitches program at registration for each tournament by showing FLW staff the B&W Hitches logo on his or her jersey. FLW ANGLER OF THE YEAR AND CO-ANGLER OF THE YEAR:

The Angler of the Year in each division, as determined by total points, receives $1,000. The Co-angler of the Year in each division, as determined by total points, receives $500. Ties are resolved by total weight, then total number of fish and then total number of live fish.
