UPCOMING EVENT: PHOENIX BASS FISHING LEAGUE - 2020 - Lake Mitchell

2020 FLW Series Entry Fees

Entry Fees

Following the recent acquisition of FLW by Major League Fishing, the FLW Series lowered its entry fees to $1,700 per tournament for pros and $550 for co-anglers while upping its championship payout to $200,000 for first place and adding $10,000 bonuses for the highest-finishing pro from each of the eight U.S. FLW Series divisions and the International division. No other circuit offers higher rewards for a lower cost to compete, and with three new divisions, you can fish closer to home for some of the sport’s biggest awards. The FLW Series is your pathway to the new FLW Pro Circuit and ultimately Major League Fishing’s Bass Pro Tour.

Lower entry fees mean you pay $600 less per division as a pro and $300 less per division as a co-angler while fishing for incredible payouts at the ramp. Fish all three qualifiers in any of eight divisions and finish in the top 25 and you’ll be on your way to the no-entry-fee FLW Series Championship for a shot at winning $200,000 cash plus lucrative contingency bonuses. The winning co-angler at the championship earns $30,000, including a premium 17-foot bass boat with 115 HP outboard. With our new win-an-you-are-in format, you are never out of contention. Fish all three qualifiers in a division and win a tournament, and you’ll be on your way to the championship.

The FLW Series Championship is your chance to earn a $200,000 payday, plus lucrative contingency bonuses, while fishing close to home. Additionally, you only have to beat 27 anglers from your division to earn a $10,000 bonus. There is no better deal in bass fishing.

The Rebirth of Spencer Shuffield

The Rebirth of Spencer Shuffield

Fall from grace stories are rarely told in the fishing world. Tournament pros come and go from year to year, some after having found a little success and some leaving the pro fishing world with little show for it. That’s the nature of a sport predicated on competing with the best of the best in a format that sometimes rewards chance. Often, hard work and skill aren’t enough to precipitate prolonged success. Sight-Fishing with Swimbaits

Ron Nelson, the Pro Circuit Angler of the Year leader and a renowned sight-fisherman, used a Keitech Swing Impact FAT for blind-fishing and sight-fishing at Martin and earned a runner-up finish. California’s Kevin Hugo took seventh at Lake Havasu and caught some of his biggest bass sight-fishing with a Little Creeper All American Trash Fish or Sunfish. Though the reasons why they settled on swimbaits varied, both pros can offer valuable lessons for any angler tackling a spawning scenario. READ MORE »
