Evinrude Highest Finisher Award

The Evinrude Highest Finisher Award is presented to the highest finishing boater who is the registered owner of a 2016 or newer Evinrude E-TEC or G2 outboard, 90 through 250 HP only. Registered owner is defined as engine registered in the angler’s name. Contingency is awarded at the weigh-in at all BFL qualifying events and super tournaments ($300), regional championships ($1,000) and the BFL All-American ($5,000 to highest finisher, $1,500 to second highest finisher, $1,000 to third highest finisher, $500 to fourth highest finisher). Angler must provide proof of ownership when entering, no later than tournament registration. If angler does not acknowledge that he/she is a registered E-TEC or G2 owner at registration, the contingency will not be honored. Angler must use the outboard on all days of competition, except for the All-American where FLW provides boats. If an eligible angler experiences an equipment issue, the angler will still receive the award as long as the borrowed boat is powered by an E-TEC or G2. Tournaments must have a minimum of 40 boats. Evinrude has final say on approvals for all contingency payouts.

Mercury Bonus Bucks

The Mercury Bonus Bucks contingency bonus goes to the winning boater in each qualifying event if he or she is the original registered owner/first purchaser of a 2017 or newer 115-250 HP Mercury outboard. • Angler must have the outboard registered with Mercury prior to competing. The Mercury Warranty registration phone number is 920.929.5054.
  • Angler must use the outboard all days of competition during the tournament.
  • Mercury has final say on approvals for all contingency payouts and reserves the right to change or discontinue this program at any time without notice.

It is the responsibility of anglers to make sure the engine is registered in their name with Mercury prior to competing. Non-registered engines will not be eligible. Note: For engines purchased from Mercury pro staff, please call the warranty line to confirm registration eligibility.
