Back in 2015, at FLW’s very first international event – the FLW Canadian Championships at Big Rideau – Joey Muszynski and Barry Graves finished the first day of fishing in second place and had their sights set on a Win. Unfortunately, day two of that tournament was not so kind, and they came up short.

Fast-forward to 2017, and another FLW Canada event on Big Rideau.

Once again sitting in second with more than a pound deficit after day one, this always-feared duo on any lake, river or stream changed its fate from 2015. This time on day two, Muszynski and Graves doubled up from day one’s weight and ended up with back-to-back limits of 18 pounds. The team, which hasn’t missed a single event since FLW Canada has come to town, finally got its very overdue win, and a well deserved one at that.

Muszynski and Graves took home a nice big check, FLW Canada trophies and, most importantly, booked their spots into the 2017 FLW Canadian Championship this fall in Buckhorn, Ontario.

Congratulations Barry Graves and Joey Muszynski, 2017 Big Rideau champions.
