In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 69th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Friday, June 14 at 1 p.m. Central time (2 p.m. ET), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with FLW Tour pro Jason Christie of Park Hill, Okla., the winner of the 2013 FLW Tour event on Grand Lake, in a special live chat-room format.

Christie is in the midst of one of the best seasons in professional bass fishing history. After winning the FLW Tour event on Beaver Lake, he went straight to Bull Shoals Lake and won the Bassmaster tournament in come-from-behind fashion. Last week, Christie notched his third tour-level win of 2013 on Grand Lake, his home fishery. His career FLW stats now show 10 wins, 36 top-10 finishes and over $930,000 in earnings. Christie currently sits in sixth place in the Angler of the Year standings and is a shoo-in for his fifth consecutive Forrest Wood Cup.

Chat directly with Christie

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on June 14, visitors can log on at 1 p.m. Central time and interact directly with Christie or simply watch the chat unfold online. As always, FLW fishing fans may begin submitting questions immediately.

During the chat fishing fans will be able to ask Christie about his recent victory on Grand Lake, winning three tour-level events in a single season, his chances of winning Angler of the Year, pose tips-and-technique questions or ask anything else that comes to mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the June 14 live chat. However, for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript will be posted to the site immediately following its conclusion.

In addition, fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats can find links to their full transcripts here.

FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event.
