(Sept. 3, 2011) – The Ramapo College team of Jeff Voss, Secaucus, N.J., and Joseph Zapf, Whippany, N.J., went wire to wire to win the National Guard FLW College Fishing Northern Division Regional championship hosted by Penn State University on Sayers Lake Saturday with four bass weighing 5 pounds, 4 ounces, for a three day total of 14 bass weighing 27-2. The team beat their closest competitor, Fairmont State University, by 7 pounds, 12 ounces. (Sept. 2, 2011) – The Ramapo College team of Jeff Voss, Secaucus, N.J., and Joseph Zapf, Whippany, N.J., maintained their lead at the National Guard FLW College Fishing Northern Division Regional championship hosted by Penn State University on Sayers Lake Friday with five bass weighing 9 pounds, 4 ounces. For the second day in a row the team brought to the scales another solid bag of bass more than doubling their lead from yesterday. The team now holds a four pound, 8 ounce lead over their nearest competitor, Fairmont State University, going into the final day of competition. Teams are competing for a total award of $50,000. FLW College Fishing Northern Regional Championship headed to Sayers Lake

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — National Guard FLW College Fishing is headed to Sayers Lake Sept. 1-3 for the Northern Regional Championship which is being hosted by Penn State. Twenty college teams will be competing for a top award of $50,000 to be split between the school and the bass fishing club; $37,500, which includes a Ranger 177TR with a 90-horsepower outboard wrapped in school colors for their for bass club and $12,500 for their school.
