HENDERSON, Nev. – Pro Jeff Michels of Lakehead, Calif., caught zero bass Saturday and was able to hang on and win the $275,225 Stren Series Western Division tournament presented by Evinrude on Lake Mead with a four-day total of 14 bass weighing 31-11. For his victory, Michels earned $25,000 cash and a $40,000 519VX Ranger boat powered by Yamaha. He also earned $4,500 in Ranger Cup and Powered by Yamaha bonuses for a total of $69,500 in winnings.
