Now that the final results are in, FLWOutdoors.com would like to congratulate everyone who took the time to participate in the latest FLW Outdoors Fantasy Fishing Challenge. Fishing Challenge players proved their punditry skills at the last Wal-Mart FLW Tour event, and the top 25 participants managed to win a variety of great prizes.

Topping the list of fantasy-fishing prognosticators was Jonathan Hughes of Donaldson, Ark., whose five-angler combination earned a check for $5,000 and bragging rights for the season so far. Hughes’ fantasy team earned 950 points at Kentucky Lake, topping the best batch of scores among players all year long and ranking as the top score for 2006 with only one tournament left to go. The tour visited Kentucky Lake near Benton, Ky., May 10-13; the event marked the fifth stop in the six-tournament regular season leading up to the Aug. 2-5 Wal-Mart FLW Tour Championship.

Other awards, presented to the top 25 contestants, ranged from a die-cast model of an official FLW Outdoors sponsor boat to FLW Outdoors-branded tackle and other fishing gear.

Note to winners: Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery of prizes.
