Fishing License: A Vermont fishing license is reciprocal with New York for all of Lake Champlain with the exception of the southern most tip of the lake. A New York fishing license is good only in certain areas of Vermont. Off Limits: Rule #11, the fish release area, and Canadian waters are off-limits. Tournament waters are off-limits August 20-31, 2007.
