Brad Baldwin of Waynesville, Ohio, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 8 pounds even Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Hoosier Division Super Tournament on the Ohio River with a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 18 pounds, 1 ounce. For his victory, Baldwin earned $5,690.

According to tournament reports, Baldwin caught his winning weights by fishing shallow wood in creeks with a spinnerbait and buzzbait.

McNaron caught the biggest bass of the tournament in the pro division, a fish weighing 4 pounds, 14 ounces and earned the day’s Big Bass award of $742.

Weisenburger wins co-angler divison

Ron Weisenburger of Continental, Ohio, won the co-angler division and $2,845 with a two-day total of eight bass weighing 11 pounds, 5 ounces.

Von Hoene caught the biggest bass of the tournament in the co-angler division and earned the day’s Big Bass award of $371.

The top 50 boaters and 50 co-anglers based on point standings now qualify for the Oct. 15-17 Regional Championship on Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and $20,000, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard.
