Lake Charles, La. – FLW pro Jeff Sprague is the newest member of the Bass Kandi Baits pro staff. Sprague’s past success with Bass Kandi Baits products as a guide and a professional angler made joining the company’s pro staff an easy transition for him.

“Bass Kandi Baits is a ‘well-known secret’ in east Texas and Louisiana, but now its baits are gaining popularity throughout the country. The durability and action of these plastics is on point,” says Sprague. “I love the fact that I can control the speed of the jig and feel the vibration, which makes a difference when fishing. I’m excited to partner with an American-made plastic company like Bass Kandi Baits and help spread the word of how good these baits are to fish.”

In 2015, Sprague will be fishing his second season as a professional in the Walmart FLW Tour. In his rookie season he finished 47th in the overall points standings. Additionally, in four out of six tournaments, he placed in the money.

Sprague’s track record as a successful co-angler gave him the impetus to move to the front of the boat. As a co-angler in 2013, he had two fourth-place finishes that helped propel him to seventh place overall in the points standings. That year he placed eighth at the Forrest Wood Cup.

Bass Kandi Baits’ owner Mike Holland welcomes Sprague to the company’s growing pro-staff team. On this new addition, Holland says, “It’s an honor to have a hard-working man like Jeff represent our company values on and off the tournament trail. On the co-angler side, Jeff has proven he has the ability to fish at a high level. We believe he can transfer that knowledge and success to the front of the boat.”

Bass Kandi Baits has been in production since 2010. Located in Southwestern Louisiana, it offers baits for freshwater and saltwater applications. Bass Kandi Baits are manufactured in the U. S. and have accounted for more than 100 tournament wins in the region.
