SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Kevin Snider of Elizabethtown, Ky., weighed a 10-bass limit over two days totaling 31 pounds, 8 ounces Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Mountain Division Super Tournament on Barren River Lake. For his victory, Snider earned $7,874.

“I caught a lot more fish the first day than the second day,” said Snider. “But I caught better quality the second day. I caught a lot of them on deep flats and I had a few points I went to – anywhere from 14 to 20 feet. The bigger fish bit better in the afternoon.

“I’m tired of second-place finishes. Even though this was just a BFL it was huge to me.”

Snider said he caught his fish on a homemade swimbait, homemade green pumpkin worm, a flutter spoon and Tennessee Shad-colored Strike King 6XD crankbait.
