BRAZIL, Ind. – Solar Bat announced this week that FLW Tour Pro Todd Hollowell has joined their Pro Staff, which boasts some of the best known names in professional bass fishing, including 6 Bassmaster Classic Champions and 6 Angler of the Year Champions as a testament to their quality and performance.

Hollowell said, “Many anglers spend thousands of dollars on their equipment each season but can fail to realize how important their sunglasses can be. Quality sunglasses are crucial to an angler’s success. I feel honored to be part of the Solar Bat team, joining some of my fishing mentors and heroes. Both Mark Dove and Terry McWilliams (from Indiana) have made the Bassmaster Classic in the last few years wearing Solar Bats, and I hope to follow in their footsteps of success.”

Solar Bat Owner Dr. Gary Nesty said, “We are proud to welcome Todd to our Pro Staff. His passion for the sport and his commitment to excellence are only two of the many reasons we are excited to bring him on board. Todd will be wearing and featuring the Solar Bat Sunglasses during the 2014 FLW Tour season and on the new WFN TV show, the Bass Dr. His expertise, personality, and ability to connect with viewers make him a great asset to Solar Bat and all of his sponsors.”

Hollowell holds eight career top-10 finishes, including a seventh-place finish on Kentucky Lake during the 2012 FLW Tour. He has earned over $114,000 with FLW and the 2014 season will mark his third year as a pro on tour.
