Shane Lineberger of Lincolnton, N.C., caught 13 bass weighing 42 pounds, 3 ounces over three days to win the Oct. 14-16 BFL Lake Guntersville Regional Championship. Linberger earned a Chevy truck and Ranger boat along with a trip to the BFL All-American for his efforts. On the final day, he fished grass north of Salty Creek with Heddon spooks and a Brian’s Crankbaits Scatter Bee in chartreuse and white.

Rounding out the top six boaters to qualify for the BFL All-American:

2nd: Robert Walser, Lexington, N.C., 15 bass, 41-14, $1,500

3rd: Greg Rikard, Leesville, S.C., 15 bass, 40-14, $1,100

4th: Sean Skey, Sumter, S.C., 12 bass, 40-12, $1,000

5th: Rick Bowen, Jackson, Tenn., 15 bass, 38-10, $900

6th: John Hopkins, Hendersonville, Tenn., 12 bass, 38-6, $800

Gilley winning co-angler

Greg Gilley of Boaz, Ala., won the co-angler title at the Oct. 14-6  BFL Regional Championship on Lake Guntersville to earn a Ranger boat.

Greg Gilley of Boaz, Ala., caught a total of nine bass weighing 24 pounds, 15 ounces over three days to win in the Co-angler Division, earning a Ranger boat along with a trip to the BFL All-American. On the final day, Gilley fished crankbaits in shallow water south of Brown Creek to earn his victory.

Rounding out the top six co-anglers to qualify for the BFL All-American:

2nd: Todd Lawrence, Rock Hill, S.C., 12 bass, 24-9, $750

3rd: Dan Basham, Louisville, Ky., 10 bass, 24-4, $550

4th: Lincoln Bowen, Crothersville, Ind., 11 bass, 24-1, $500

5th: Kyle Radake, Cape Girardeau, Mo., seven bass, 20-10, $450

6th: Tony McVey, Chilhowie, Va., six bass, 18-2, $400
