Boater Josh Stracner of Vandiver, Ala., caught a 10-bass total weighing 31 pounds even Oct. 2-3 to win $4,604 in the BFL Bama Division Super Tournament on Lake Guntersville.

Rounding out the top 10 boaters:

6th: Blake Parker, Harpersville, Ala., 10 bass, 24-15, $844

7th: Keith Buterbaugh, Douglasville, Ga., seven bass, 23-11, $1,767 (includes $1,000 Evinrude bonus)

8th: Johnny Belyeu, Gadsden, Ala., 10 bass, 22-14, $691

9th: Euvaughn Dukes, Rainsville, Ala., seven bass, 19-13, $614

Freddy Rutkowski of Brookwood, Ala., earned $2,302 as the co-angler winner of the Oct. 2-3 BFL Bama event.

Freddy Rutkowski of Brookwood, Ala., caught a seven-bass total weighing 16 pounds, 10 ounces Oct. 2-3 to win $2,302 in the Co-angler Division.

Coming up

The next BFL Bama Division tournament, the Regional Championship, is scheduled for Oct. 21-23 on Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Ga. The top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from the Bama, Bulldog, Gator and Savannah River divisions have qualified for the Regional Championship, where the top six boaters and top six co-anglers will advance to the BFL All-American.
