Boater Marshall Deakins of Dunlap, Tenn., caught a 10-bass total weighing 37 pounds, 10 ounces Sept. 11-12 to win $9,743 in the BFL Choo Choo Division Super Tournament on Lake Guntersville.

Coming up

The next BFL Choo Choo Division tournament, the Regional Championship, is scheduled for Oct. 7-9 on Lake Barkley in Kuttawa, Ky. The top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from the Mississippi, Illini, Choo Choo and Mountain divisions have qualified for the Regional Championship, where the top six boaters and top six co-anglers will advance to the BFL All-American.
