Scott Dobson of Clarkston, Mich., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 24 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to win $6,418 in the FLW BFL Michigan Division tournament on the Detroit River. Dobson was targeting deep flats, drop-shotting Berkley Gulp baits to catch his limit.

6th: Dick Parker, Amherst, Ohio, five bass, 18-15, $627

7th: Mark Stephenson, New Castle, Ind., five bass, 18-2, $570

8th: Brian Metry, Grosse Pointe, Mich., five bass, 16-14, $513

Co-angler Chuck Hasty of Toledo, Ohio, recorded a 20-pound, 2-ounce catch to win the BFL Michigan Division event on the Detroit River. For his efforts, Hasty earned over $1,700 in winnings.Chuck Hasty of Toledo, Ohio., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 20 pounds, 2 ounces to win $1,709 in the FLW BFL Michigan Co-angler Division on the Detroit River. Hasty was dragging the bottom of the river with a Gulp Goby to sack his limit.

The next BFL Michigan Division tournament is scheduled for July 31, at St. Clair River in Harrison Township, Mich. After the fifth Michigan Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on the 2010 point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Ky., on Oct. 21-23, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
