Boater Billy Schroeder of Paducah, Ky., caught a five-bass limit weighing 22 1/2 pounds Saturday to win $4,830 plus a $2,000 Ranger Cup bonus in the BFL LBL Division tournament on Kentucky-Barkley lakes. On what turned out to be a hot day, Schroeder used a 1/2-ounce jig in 10 to 15 feet of water near the Danville Bridge area on Kentucky Lake to bag his limit.

6th: Kevin Snider, Elizabethtown, Ky., five bass, 19-14, $885

7th: Gary Edwards, Milton, Ky., five bass, 18-9, $805

David Mouser of Elizabethtown, Ky., caught a five-bass limit weighing 18 pounds, 15 ounces to win $2,415 in the Co-angler Division on Kentucky-Barkley. Mouser used crankbaits and a football-head jig in 12 to 20 feet of water near Paris, Ky., to catch his sack.

Coming up

The next BFL LBL Division tournament is scheduled for June 20 at Kentucky-Barkley lakes in Gilbertsville, Ky. After the fifth LBL Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 14-16 Regional Championship at Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala., where boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
