Boater Jason of Weast of Macks Creek, Mo., caught a five-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win $3,889 in the FLW BFL Ozark Division tournament on Lake of the Ozarks. He was throwing crawfish baits to bag his limit.

Tommy Lowery of Ofallon, Mo., won in the Co-angler Division of the May 1 BFL Ozark Division tournament to earn $1,944.Tommy Lowery of Ofallon, Mo., caught a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 14 ounces to win $1,944 in the Co-angler Division on Lake of the Ozarks. Lowery was using Baby Brush Hogs in 4 to 5 feet of water to catch his sack.

Coming up

The next BFL Ozark Division tournament is scheduled for May 22, at Table Rock Lake in Branson West, Mo. After the fifth Ozark Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 14-16 Regional Championship at Lake Texoma in Denison, Texas, where boaters will compete for a top prize of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
