Boater Paul Rigsbee of Durham, N.C., caught a five-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win $4,271 in the BFL Piedmont Division tournament on Lake Gaston.

Rounding out the top 10 anglers in the Boater Division:

Coming up

The next BFL Piedmont Division tournament is scheduled for April 17 at Kerr Lake in Henderson, N.C. After the fifth Piedmont Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 7-9 Regional Championship at the Potomac River in Woodbridge, Va., where boaters compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, and co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
