Boater George Jeane Jr. of Evans, La., caught a five-bass limit weighing 18 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win $4,394 in the BFL Cowboy Division tournament on Toledo Bend.

Brian Brandon of Elgin, Texas, weighed four bass for 17-11 to take second place and $2,197 in the Boater Division; in third was John Bowen of League City, Texas, five bass, 16-9, $1,464; fourth place belonged to Nick Diberardino of Huffman, Texas, 5 bass, 16-8, $1,025; and Jerrel Pringle of Hemphill, Texas, and Rick Rickman of Gainesville, Texas, tied for fifth place, each with five bass, 15-9, $842.

Rounding out the top 10 boaters in the BFL Cowboy Division event on Toledo Bend:

6th: David Waller, Fort Worth, Texas, 15-4, $732

8th: Dean Lee, Longview, Texas, 15-2, $659

9th: Jeremy Guidry, Opelousas, La., 14-6, $586

10th: Glen Freeman, Converse, La., 14-4, $513

Co-angler Robert Moore of Leesville, La., won the Feb. 20 BFL Cowboy Division event to earn $2,197.In the Co-angler Division, Robert Moore of Leesville, La., caught a five-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 12 ounces to win $2,197.

Coming up

The next BFL Cowboy Division tournament is scheduled for March 6 at Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Jasper, Texas. The top 40 anglers and 40 co-anglers from each of the five division tournaments will qualify for the Oct. 14-16 Regional Championship on Lake Texoma in Denison, Texas, where boaters will fish for a new Ranger 198VX powered by a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard plus a Chevy pickup and co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
