‘Look for the Hook’ Sweepstakes winners announced

Five lucky contestants net all-expense-paid trip to Forrest Wood Cup in Hot Springs, Ark., with chance to win grand prize package featuring Ranger boat and Chevy Silverado pickup

FLW Outdoors is pleased to announce the five first-place prize winners of the 2007 “Look for the Hook” Sweepstakes: Mark Abeloff of Reading, Pa.; Kathleen Cochran of Acworth, Ga.; Jim Grover of Conyers, Ga.; Allan Leeman of Point Pleasant, N.J.; and Evelyn (Evie) Lucarelli of Eau Claire, Wis.

Per sweepstakes rules, each of the five first-place contestants will receive an all-expense-paid trip to the upcoming Forrest Wood Cup – slated to take place Aug. 2-5 at Hot Springs, Ark. The first-place prize package, which includes round-trip airfare for two, three nights’ accommodations, $200 spending money, hotel transfers and VIP tournament seating, is valued at approximately $1,400.

In addition, one of the first-place prize contestants will also go home with the grand prize – a brand new Chevy Silverado pickup truck, a $1,200 BP gasoline gift card and a Ranger Comanche boat-and-tow package outfitted with Berkley fishing gear valued at approximately $85,000.

The grand prize winner will be crowned during the live taping of the “Best Damn Sports Show Period,” scheduled to take place Saturday, Aug. 4, at 1 p.m. on the Chevy stage at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

First-place contestants were randomly selected at the conclusion (June 15) of the “Look for the Hook” Sweepstakes. Throughout the 107-day contest, sweepstakes participants won daily “instant winner” prizes on FLWOutdoors.com by submitting UPC codes from a variety of qualifying sponsor packaging. Daily “instant winner” prize packages included annual FLW Outdoors memberships, clothing certificates from Ranger Boats, multiple sponsor product prize packages as well a variety of FLW Outdoors apparel.
