KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Troy Olivier, Lakeland, Fla., topped 200 Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League competitors Saturday on Lake Toho with five bass weighing 17 pounds, 3 ounces. The catch earned him $5,000 and 200 points in the Boater Division.

Olivier’s catch also earned him a $1,000 bonus from GARMIN since he was using one of the company’s fixed-mount sonar or combination sonar/GPS units.

Second-place boater Robert Lane, Lakeland, Fla., finished the one-day tournament with a five-bass catch weighing 16 pounds, 9 ounces worth $2,500. John Adkinson, Haines City, Fla. (five bass, 16 pounds, 8 ounces, $1,500); Steve Montelaro, Palm Harbor, Fla., (five bass, 15 pounds, 15 ounces, $1,200); and Joseph Kremer, Deltona, Fla., (five bass, 15 pounds, 13 ounces, $1,100) rounded out the top-five boaters.

Ken Fitton, Loxahatchee, Fla., earned boater big bass honors and $1,000 with a huge 11-pound, 2-ounce bass that he caught on a watermelon red Fluke while fishing Kissimmee grass.

Sixth place boater Chris Crossan, Marco, Island, Fla., earned a $500 bonus from Ranger Boats as the highest finishing participant in the Ranger Cup incentive program.

Mike Calloway, Titusville, Fla., claimed first place and $2,500 in the 200-competitor Co-angler Division with five bass weighing 14 pounds, 11 ounces. Bruce Greer, Lake Worth, Fla. (five bass, 13 pounds, 7 ounces, $750); Elmore Watkins III, Boynton Beach, Fla. (five bass, 12 pounds, 12 ounces, $600); and Matthew Davis, Clewiston, Fla. (five bass, 12 pounds, 6 ounces, $550) rounded out the top-five co-anglers.
