TIGERODZ Aligns With Auburn Team

Custom fishing rod manufacturer TIGERODZ of Scottsboro, Ala., has signed an agreement to become the official rod brand for the Auburn University Bass Sports Club. Scott Dobbins, president of TIGERODZ, is an Auburn alum, and he says the pairing involved a natural progression of involvement.

“I have a lot of pride in being an alumnus of Auburn,” says Dobbins. “Being a lifetime angler who has ties to the university really made the decision to help these young men an easy one.”

Another reason that Dobbins wanted to boost his alma mater’s fishing team is because there are several new additions to the Auburn squad that TIGERODZ has previously supported individually.

“There are two or three new anglers at Auburn that fished on high school teams that we supported with TIGERODZ,” Dobbins adds. “To have that continuity as well as belief in the coach really makes for a strong partnership that we are proud to be a part of.”

Darrel High, who coaches the Auburn team, says he knows that the TIGERODZ partnership will be a big help in 2016.

“This sponsorship will help the Auburn University fishing team continue to compete at the highest level. The TIGERODZ product line is of the utmost quality and gives our team the confidence to know they are using the best,” notes High. “Our team is preparing for a very busy 2016. TIGERODZ will help make sure we perform at peak levels.”
