The funeral for Shad Schenck’s father, Keith Schenck, will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16 at Flanner and Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road in Noblesville, Ind. Visitation has been scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

The elder Schenck, 75, passed away Thursday morning from complications due to a blood infection. Beside his son, Shad, Keith E. Schenck is survived by his wife Carole, daughter Shannan, stepchildren and grandchildren. The elder Schenck was a graduate of Purdue University and a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. Up to the time of his retirement in 1992, he was a farmer.

The family asks that, rather than flowers, donations in Keith Schenck’s memory be made to St. Vincent Hospice. Visit flannerbuchanan.com to sign the online guest register.
