FLW announced its 2015 Walmart FLW Tour schedule yesterday at a press conference during the ICAST show in Orlando. Within the crowd of more than 100 people who came by to witness the unveiling were about 30 Tour pros, all anxious to see where they’d be competing next season. Once the schedule was revealed, we asked a few pros for their reaction. Here’s what they had to say.

Cody Meyer – I really like that we get to start on a new lake like Toho. I think that will give the year a fresh feel. Honestly though, I like a lot of the lakes we are going to visit. I don’t know if I can have another season like I did this year, but I feel good about how the lakes will set up.

Clent Davis – I love it. A lot of the events are close to home for me, and I like that. I had a tough tournament on Lewis Smith last time we were there, so it will be nice to get a little redemption this time. I have been to every lake on the schedule except Toho, and I think that should be a good one.

Jason Lambert – I like the schedule a lot. I have never been to the Potomac River, but from what I hear it should be a great event. And of course I’m pretty excited for Chickamauga. Other than the Potomac I have been to all the other lakes so I’ll feel pretty comfortable for the entire season.

Ish Monroe – The 2015 schedule is amazing. It has shallow and deep lakes, so it will be a very diverse year. It will really show who the true Angler of the Year is because the schedule won’t play to one guy or another.

Wesley Strader – The best part about next year is that it will be so diverse. I’m really looking forward to it. It’s definitely going to take a well-rounded angler to do well on Tour.

Mark Rose – It will be an awesome opportunity to fish for FLW next year. We get to sample a little of everything, from shallow, grass lakes to deep, clear reservoirs to river systems. The schedule will absolutely show the best in the Angler of the Year race.
