Walmart FLW Tour pros Tom Redington, Mike Surman and Tim Malon had a fun morning at the W.G. Rhea Public Library yesterday, spending time with about 60 children, ages 5 to 8, from the Paris summer camp program as part of FLW's Get Outdoors. Go Fish! program.
Even though it was an early morning for the kids, their enthusiasm overcame any tiredness. They were really excited that the anglers had come to visit. After the anglers talked about the different aspects that go into fishing a tournament, it was time to open the floor for questions.
Usually with these types of visits questions range from “Where’s your favorite place to fish?” to “What’s the biggest fish you’ve ever caught?".

However, these children, most of them having grown up right by Kentucky Lake, asked some very advanced questions, like “What jig do you like to fish with the best?" and “What style of fishing is your favorite?” and “How old were you when you started fishing?”

There were definitely some future pros in the audience.
The visit ended with what is always the highlight of these events: a boat demonstration.
