Although the 2013 Walmart FLW Tour season has officially concluded, bass-fishing fans still looking for additional opportunities to interact with their favorite pros before the start of the 2014 tournament fishing schedule are in luck. On Thursday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. Central Time, fans will be able to communicate directly with FLW Tour pro Casey Martin of New Hope, Ala., during a live TweetChat.

Fans of Martin and the FLW Tour can start submitting questions immediately on either the FLW Facebook page or on FLW Twitter using #FLWChat. Questions may also be submitted directly on Twitter during the live chat.

Entering his rookie year as a pro on the FLW Tour in 2013, Casey Martin has performed admirably to say the least. The Alabama pro started the season off strongly with a sixth-place overall finish at the Tour event at Lake Okeechobee. Then, after surviving a series of tumultuous finishes over the next four events, Martin netted the top prize on Lake Chickamauga in June, the final regular-season contest of the season, to cement his very first FLW Tour win as a pro and secure a spot in the Forrest Wood Cup in the process.

Casey Martin shows off part of his final day 30-pound limit on Lake Chickamauga.Martin currently boasts nearly $300,000 in winnings at FLW events over the course of his career, which began as a co-angler back in 2003. The Alabama pro has also logged five wins total, including three wins as a co-angler on the FLW Tour – Lake Champlain and Lake Guntersville in 2011 and Kentucky Lake in 2012. In addition, the Alabama pro capped his rookie season off by finishing in 43rd place at the 2013 Forrest Wood Cup in Shreveport, La., marking the first time he competed in the sport’s main event as a pro.

Throughout the 2013 season, Martin’s rookie exploits on the FLW Tour were also chronicled at each and every event in the FLW reality series, “Circuit Breaker.” The next installment is scheduled to be released Friday, Sept. 27. To view the entire series, click here.
