In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 62nd installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. ET), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with Strike King pro Phil Marks, the FLW Tour Sam Rayburn Reservoir winner, in a special live chat-room format.

With nearly $140,000 in FLW earnings, Strike King pro Phil Marks of Dallas, Texas, notched his very first FLW Tour victory on Sam Rayburn Reservoir this October. For his efforts, Marks walked away with a first-place payday totaling $125,000. In addition to his win, Marks also boasts four other top-10 FLW finishes including: a fourth-place EverStart Series tally on Sam Rayburn (2012), a 10th-place EverStart Series finish on Toledo Bend (2012), as well as eighth-place and third-place BFL results on Sam Rayburn (2011 and 1995 respectively).

Chat directly with Phil Marks

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on Oct. 23, visitors can log on at 2 p.m. Central time and interact directly with Phil Marks or simply watch the chat unfold online. As always, FLW fishing fans may begin submitting questions immediately.

During the chat fishing fans will be able to ask Marks about his Sam Rayburn victory, what it was like to capture his very first FLW Tour title, pose tips-and-technique questions or ask anything else that comes to mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the Oct. 23 live chat. However, for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript of the event will be posted to the site in article form immediately following its conclusion.

In addition, bass-fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats can find links to their full transcripts here.

FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event. Also, additional chats will be added throughout each month as anglers or fishing celebrities become available.
