In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 61st installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. ET), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with National Guard pro Mark Rose, the FLW Tour Wheeler Lake winner, in a special live chat-room format.

With nearly over $1.6 million in FLW earnings, National Guard pro Mark Rose of West Memphis, Ark., is arguably fishing as well as he ever has in his career. Boasting 32 top-10 finishes since joining FLW back in 1996, Rose has scored major victories in each of the last three seasons including this month’s FLW Tour win on Wheeler Lake, a 2011 FLW Tour win on Pickwick Lake and a 2010 FLW Series victory on Lake Chickamauga. In addition, Rose has recorded an astounding 10 top-10 FLW Tour finishes since 2008 and walked away with this year’s inaugural Forrest L. Wood Sportsmanship and Community Leadership Award presented by Goodwill.

Chat directly with Rose

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on Oct. 2, visitors can log on at 2 p.m. Central time and interact directly with Rose or simply watch the chat unfold online. As always, FLW fishing fans may begin submitting questions immediately.

During the chat fishing fans will be able to ask Rose about his Wheeler Lake victory, what it was like to be the very first recipient of the Forrest L. Wood Sportsmanship and Community Leadership award, pose tips-and-technique questions or ask anything else that comes to mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the Oct. 2 live chat. However, for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript of the event will be posted to the site in article form immediately following its conclusion.

In addition, bass-fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats can find links to their full transcripts here.

FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event. Also, additional chats will be added throughout each month as anglers or fishing celebrities become available.
