In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 58th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Tuesday, July 10 at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. ET), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with David Dudley, the FLW Tour Lake Champlain winner and 2012 FLW Tour Angler of the Year champion, in a special live chat-room format.
Castrol pro David Dudley of Lynchburg, Va., is coming off one of the biggest fishing events of his career. Not only did Dudley take home the tournament title at the most recent FLW Tour Major at Lake Champlain, but he also made history by clinching the 2012 FLW Tour Angler of the Year crown, becoming the only competitor in FLW history to capture the AOY title in back-to-back years. In addition, Dudley now boasts three FLW Tour AOY titles (tied for the record with Clark Wendlandt), 36 top-10 finishes at FLW-related events, three FLW Tour titles as well as one Forrest Wood Cup victory. Dudley also remains the all-time FLW money leader, surpassing $3 million in career earnings since he began fishing FLW events back in 1995.
Chat directly with Dudley
Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on July 10, visitors can log on at 2 p.m. Central time and interact directly with Dudley or simply watch the chat unfold online. As always, FLW fishing fans may begin submitting questions immediately.
During the chat, fishing fans will be able to ask Dudley about his FLW Tour victory on Lake Champlain, his thoughts on capturing the AOY title in back-to-back years, pose tips-and-technique questions, pick his brain on the upcoming Forrest Wood Cup or ask anything else that comes to mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the July 10 live chat. However, for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript of the event will be posted to the site in article form immediately following its conclusion.
In addition, bass-fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats can find links to their full transcripts here.
FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event. Also, additional chats will be added throughout each month as anglers or fishing celebrities become available.
