APOPKA, Fla. – Castrol pro angler David Dudley, the career leader in FLW Tour earnings and the 2011 FLW Angler of the Year, will be on hand to sign autographs and answer consumer questions Saturday, Feb. 4, at Sweetwater Car Wash & Express Oil Change located at 1609 S. Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka, Fla.
Castrol co-angler Philip Jarabeck will also appear at the event. Jarabeck is a young, upcoming angler on the FLW Tour from Lynchburg, Va. He has been fishing on the FLW Tour as a co-angler since 2006. Currently Philip has earned over $20,000 and has finished in the top 10 five times.
Dudley and Jarabeck will be on site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to signing autographs, the duo will demonstrate fishing techniques and tips and also conduct a casting contest for special door prizes.
Additional grand-opening festivities will include free hot dogs, chips and soda (while supplies last). The location will also offer a free car wash with any oil change during the event hours.
In 2011 alone, Dudley notched four top-15 finishes, two of which were top-10s. He has amassed five wins and 31 top-10 finishes and won $2.7 million during his 16-year career in FLW competition. Dudley also is the youngest angler in the sport to surpass both the $1 million and $2 million marks.
