In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 45th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Wednesday, June 1, at 3 p.m. Eastern time (2 p.m. CDT), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with John Cox, the 2011 FLW Tour Red River winner, in a special live chat-room format.

With nearly $200,000 in winnings and 12 top-10 finishes at FLW Outdoors-related events since 2004, Mercury pro John Cox of Debary, Fla., secured his first-ever FLW Tour win at the Red River on May 22. Most remarkably, Cox led the Red River event beginning on day one and held on to the top spot in the standings each and every day of the four-day contest. In the end, Cox wound up winning the tournament title by more than 5 pounds, an impressive feat to say the least.

Chat directly with Cox

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on June 1, visitors can log on at 3 p.m. Eastern and interact directly with Cox or simply watch the chat unfold. As always, FLW Outdoors fishing fans may submit questions immediately that will be answered during the FLW Live Reel Chat.

During the chat, people will be able to ask Cox about his recent victory at the Red River, inquire what it’s like to have a career as a professional bass angler, pose tips-and-technique questions or anything else that comes to mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the live chat on June 1. However, for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript of the event will be posted to the site in article form immediately following its conclusion.

In addition, bass-fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats can find links to their full transcripts here.

FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event. Also, additional chats will be added throughout each month as anglers or fishing celebrities become available.
