In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 39th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Tuesday, July 6, at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. ET), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with FLW Tour pro Brent Long of Cornelius, N.C., in a special live chat-room format.

Brent Long is a grass-roots success story when it comes to tournament bass fishing. He is a two-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier through club tournaments and had put together his best finishes in FLW Outdoors events in the weekend Bass Fishing League (seven top-10 finishes and an All-American berth). That changed when the FLW Tour visited Lake Guntersville in late June and Long put on a fishing clinic that led to his first tour-level win and a $125,000 payday.

Chat directly with Long

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on July 6, visitors can log on at 2 p.m. Central time and interact or simply watch the chat unfold. As always, FLW Outdoors fishing fans may submit questions immediately and can continue asking questions throughout the entire duration of the live Reel Chat.

During the chat, fishing fans will be able to ask Long about his victory at the recent FLW Tour event at Lake Guntersville, what the victory means for his career and outlook on the future, inquire what it’s like to be a pro angler on the FLW Tour, pose tips-and-technique questions or anything else that comes to Pro Brent Long pumps his first in celebration after learning he won the 2010 FLW Tour event on Lake Guntersville.mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s FLW Live Reel Chatalso a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the live chat on July 6. And for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript of the event will be posted to the site in article form immediately following its conclusion.

In addition, bass-fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats, can find links to their full transcripts here.

FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event. Also, additional chats will be added throughout each month as anglers or celebrities become available.
