FORT PAYNE, Ala. – Castrol pro angler David Dudley, the career leader in FLW Tour earnings and the 2008 FLW Angler of the Year, will be on hand to meet and greet customers June 18 during Customer Appreciation Day at Castrol Premium Lube Express, 209 Greenhill Blvd. NW, Fort Payne, Ala.

Dudley will be on-site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to sign autographs and answer consumer questions as a highlight of the event. In addition to signing autographs, he will host a fishing seminar in which he will demonstrate fishing techniques and offer tips for the everyday fisherman and will coordinate a casting contest for special door prizes. Consumers also will be invited to register for a “win a trip” promotion in which the grand prize is a half-day of fishing with one of the Castrol Pro Team anglers (visit Castrol Premium Lube Express in Fort Payne for details).

In addition to being one of the world’s most successful freshwater fishermen, Dudley also worked as a saltwater fishing guide off the North Carolina coast. The Lynchburg, Va., resident has won two of the richest events in bass fishing – the Ranger Boats Millennium in 2002 and the Forrest Wood Cup in 2003. The payoff for those two wins was $1.2 million.
