In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 30th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Wednesday, July 22, at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. EDT), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will get a chance to correspond directly with Kellogg’s pro Clark Wendlandt of Leander, Texas – the 2009 FLW Tour Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year winner – in a special live chat room format.

With over $1.6 million in career earnings at FLW Outdoors events, Wendlandt has an astonishing 33 top-10 finishes to his credit as well as three major FLW Tour victories – including two titles on Beaver Lake (1999 and 2001) and Lake Murray (2000). However, it is arguably Wendlandt’s record-setting three FLW Tour Angler of the Year titles – captured in 1997, 2000 and 2009 – that truly sets him apart.

Now with his place in FLW Outdoors history firmly established, Wendlandt is ready to set his sights on doing battle at the 2009 Forrest Wood Cup slated for July 30-Aug. 2 in Pittsburgh.

How to participate in the FLW Live Reel Chat

Participation in FLW Live Reel Chat is simple. Beginning immediately, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com can log on and submit questions to the chat early in order to have the first chance at getting their questions answered. However, if that is not feasible, readers can also wait until the start of the live chat on July 22 and submit questions while the chat is ongoing.

During the chat, fishing fans will be able to pose questions directly to Wendlandt about his most recent Angler of the Year title, his upcoming prospects at the 2009 Forrest Wood Cup, the challenges anglers face fishing for a living or anything else that comes to mind.
