Benton, Arkansas’ Brennan Bosley polished off a stellar year on the Wal-Mart FLW Tour by earning the Eagle Claw Hook Set Award for an eye-popping catch at the season-ending championship.

Bosley racked up a runner-up finish early in the season on South Carolina’s Lake Murray and followed it up less than a month later with a seventh-place finish on Alabama’s Pickwick Lake in early March. Back in Bama in early August, the four-year tour pro powered his way to a ninth-place finish on Logan Martin Lake in his first-ever FLW Championship appearance.

It was Bosley’s season-ending performance that paved the way to the Hook Set Award, despite his having been pitted against Brent Ehrler, the championship winner, and FLW Tour standout David Dudley. Those casting online ballots in the contest handed the Hook Set Award to Bosley, based on fishing footage that appeared both on the “FLW Outdoors” TV show on FSN (Fox Sports Net) as well as at Brennan Bosley raises a fist in triumph as he defeats Dion Hibdon in the second round at Logan Martin.FLWOutdoors.com.
