In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the seventh installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 3 p.m. Central time (4 p.m. EST), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will get a chance to correspond directly with Pocola, Okla., native and bass-fishing specialist Sam Newby in a special live chat room format.
Newby, winner of the 2005 EverStart Series Championship, has quietly padded his resume with a list of extraordinary accomplishments since fishing the FLW Tour full time in 2002. Currently, Newby boasts more than $480,000 in career earnings and owns 10 top-10 finishes at FLW Outdoors events. In addition to collecting $140,000 for winning the most recent EverStart Championship, Newby also holds two additional titles – finishing first at the FLW Tour Lake Champlain event in 2002 and first at the EverStart Series Central Division event on Fort Gibson in 2000. Newby’s FLW Outdoors career began back in 1996 when he started fishing the Wal-Mart BFL Okie Division.

Participation is FLW Live Reel Chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on Nov. 15, visitors can log on shortly before 3 p.m. (Central time) and start submitting questions. During the chat, fishing fans will be able to talk directly to Johnson about his storied career, his recent AOY victory, the upcoming FLW Walleye Tour Championship or anything else that comes to mind. In addition, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com also have the added bonus of being able to log on today and submit questions to the chat early in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered.
