In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the sixth installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m. Central Time (2 p.m. EDT), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will get a chance to correspond directly with walleye fishing icon Nick Johnson in a special live chat-room format.

Johnson, the 2005 FLW Walleye Tour Angler of the Year, is undeniably one of the hottest walleye competitors on tour. Johnson began his recent string of success by claiming the 2004 Wal-Mart FLW Walleye Tour Championship and a $300,000 top prize on the Mississippi River near Moline, Ill. At the 2005 season-opening event on Bull Shoals Lake, Johnson became the first angler to win back-to-back FLW Walleye Tour events. While his consecutive streak ended on Lake Erie, he remained consistent throughout the 2005 season and claimed the prestigious AOY award. In less than two full seasons, the Elmwood, Wis., native has accumulated roughly $400,000. As this year’s championship returns to the Quad Cities, look for Johnson to once again be among the favorites.

During the chat, fishing fans will be able to talk directly to Johnson about his storied career, his recent AOY victory, the upcoming FLW Walleye Tour Championship or anything else that comes to mind.
