George Cochran recently won the Wal-Mart FLW Tour’s Forrest L. Wood Championship in dramatic fashion on his home waters of Arkansas’ Lake Hamilton. The veteran pro from Hot Springs, Ark., is a two-time winner on the Wal-Mart FLW Tour, including this year’s championship, as well as a past Bassmaster Classic champion. With over $1.7 million in career earnings on both tours, Cochran announced after the FLW Championship that he’s ready to hang it up on the BASS tour so he can focus exclusively on the FLW Tour next season.
