The 2004 Wal-Mart FLW Tour is Birmingham bound and will arrive Aug. 11-14 with its $1.5 million World Championship of Bass Fishing and Outdoor Show. This premier event, which features the world’s best bass anglers competing for an astounding $500,000 first-place cash award, will be housed in the 220,000 square-foot Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.

The FLW Tour Outdoor Show surrounds the weigh-in stage and features exhibits and boat displays along with an interactive Family Fun Zone, which is geared toward children. More than $100,000 in free giveaways, including rod and reel combos, tackle boxes and fishing products, will be distributed to children 12 and under (accompanied by an adult) throughout this free-admission event.

This event will be nationally televised during three episodes of “FLW Outdoors,” which is broadcast to 65 million subscribers on the Outdoor Life Network.

A yearlong multi-media effort, geared to intensify as the show nears, has already been launched with the goal of attracting thousands of families and fishing enthusiasts to the FLW Tour Championship and Outdoor Show.

Cost for a 10-foot by 10-foot booth is only $440. However, space is limited, so reserve your spot now. Tournament show dates are Aug. 11-14, with ingress beginning Aug. 9 and egress from Aug. 14 and 15.
