Ask the Pro column looks to build interactive relationship with nation’s top pros

Over the past year, the staff at OperationBass.com has relied heavily on readers’ comments and suggestions to help make this one of the premier bass fishing Web sites in the nation. However, while many OperationBass.com features have provided readers with invaluable information, one column in particular – Ask the Pro – offers a unique chance to communicate directly with our professional anglers.

Ask the Pro was introduced on Sept. 11, 2000. Since it’s inception, it has garnered high marks from both anglers and readers alike. Not only is it one of the most informative question-and-answer bass fishing columns on the Web today, but it also provides readers with a true interactive relationship with some of the top pros in the country.

Despite the fact that our readership continues to grow at impressive rates, the staff at OperationBass.com has still managed to publish over 95 percent of the questions submitted to us for the Ask the Pro column. What does that mean? Basically, if you have a fishing-related question and take some time to submit it, chances are it will be answered.

So here is your big chance to participate and add your own personal slant to our column. Think about it. How often do you get to stop a professional bass angler on the street and ask him or her about spinnerbaits, tournament fishing, or any other fishing-related topic?

We’ve put together an expert staff to answer your questions including fishing greats Clark Wendlandt, Carl Svebek, Marty Stone, Guido Hibdon, Peter Thliveros, Terry Bolton, Mike Wurm and Scott Martin. And they’re waiting to hear from you.

Remember, if you’d like to participate, simply go to the most recent Ask the Pro column located on the E-zine homepage. A direct email link is provided so that you can submit your questions online. Just click on that link, type in your question along with your full name and city and state address and hit “send.” It’s as simple as that.

If you’re more comfortable using the U.S. Post Office, you can mail your questions to: Ask the Pro, 901 N. Third Street, Suite 200, Minneapolis, MN 55401.

Whatever method you choose is fine with us.
