Professional bass angler Q&A column to debut Sept. 11

Whether you are a weekend angler, a dedicated fishing novice or have aspirations of joining the Wal-Mart FLW Tour, you probably have a few (million?) questions that you would love to share with a bona fide fishing expert.

Well, here’s your big chance.

Beginning Sept. 11, Operation Bass will publish a weekly online question-and-answer column entitled “Ask the Pro.” The column will feature some of the premier bass anglers in the nation answering questions submitted by you, the readers. All you have to do is submit your question to us via e-mail at [email protected] and we’ll get your fishing inquiries to the professionals. Whether you’re interested in learning about fishing strategy, when and where to use certain baits and lures, spawning periods or the latest in high-tech fishing equipment, the “Ask the Pro” column is for you.

To ensure that we’re bringing you the most knowledgeable fishing experts in the sport, OperationBass.com has enlisted the services of some of the best FLW anglers currently on the professional bass fishing circuit. Our esteemed “Ask the Pro” lineup includes such heavy hitters as Mike Wurm of Hot Springs, Ark.; Carl Svebek III of Sam Rayburn, Texas; Marty Stone of Linden, N.C.; FLW Kellogg’s Angler of the Year Clark Wendlandt of Cedar Park, Texas; Terry Bolton of Paducah, Ky.; Scott Martin of Clewiston, Fla.; Peter Thliveros of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Guido Hibdon of Gravois, Mo.

Mike Wurm is set to kick things off on Monday, Sept. 11 with his very first column. That entry will be closely followed up with columns from Carl Svebek III on Sept. 18 and Marty Stone on Sept. 27. Please remember to include your full name, city and state when submitting questions.

Our “Ask the Pro” column will appear regularly every Monday in the E-zine “columns” section of our Web site.

So remember, get those questions ready. The anglers are waiting to hear from you.
